Williams Landing Sports Club (WLSC) caters for the sports & recreational needs for the ever growing Wyndham and Williams Landing community. WLSC also provides the community, a way to collaborate by overcoming their cultural backgrounds through sports. The club focuses heavily on the development of junior sport for the development of a sporting culture from the grass roots level. The club utilizes Cricket Victoria programs to achieve these outcomes. Some main points about the club:
- WLSC is a Not For Profit Community Sports Club
- WLSC is incorporated with Cricket Victoria and associated with Williamstown and Districts Cricket Association and Western Suburbs Churches & Community Cricket Association
- WLSC is the only community sports club in Williams Landing
- WLSC’s membership is open to all, i.e., there are no restrictions on ‘who can join
- WLSC caters for Adults/Seniors while focusing heavily on Junior Cricket, to develop them early and providing the young generation, the best chance to develop their skill/game
- WLSC aims to develop special programs in the future to encourage community involvement
- WLSC is apolitical in its policies or procedures
